The cruise...

We decided to take a kidless vacation - which took a lot of coordinating and planning, but we were able to do it!
We took the 4 day cruise to Mexico and back just to get away for a few restful days!

Here is our room (reminds me of a casino!)

Here we are on the balcony of the room enjoying the view of Long Beach before we sailed

The Queen Mary

Our first stop outside our stateroom was at the bar for a Bon Voyage drink of the day!

We went outside and watched Long Beach sail away

Our first day was spent in Avalon, Catalina, CA - we were supposed to snorkle that day, but the excursion was canceled :( So we went in late and had lunch and Buffalo Milk (Thanks Molly for the recommendation!!) and got the girls some cute dresses!

Here is our ship as we took the little boat into port

Here is a picture from the beach of Avalon

A self portrait of us on the beach in Avalon

The Casino in Avalon

We did the Glass Bottom Boat tour since snorkling was cancelled

We woke the next morning to see the second largest flag in Mexico in Ensenada!!

We did the ATV excursion in Ensenada and had a blast! We were dirty after, but we didn't care because we had so much fun!!

The night in Ensenada Jim got quarantined to our room because he had a cough and fever - thankfully it was after all our stops and all he missed was a Day at Sea!

A few things we did find in our room were some cute towel animals that were placed there when we were at dinner.

And our last sunrise over the CA skyline - we were up and ready to get off that ship and see our girls!!!
