Baby Bug turns 3

It's hard to believe that our baby bug turned 3 - where has the time gone? She is a funny little lady with more personality in her little finger then most people. She is mostly happy, go lucky little girl who's favorite thing in life is to hang out with her Big Sis. The two really are inseperable and have a very special, strong bond.

Allie goes bump in the night...

Last night our Baby Bug had an accident... the first of many I am sure, but I think the first is maybe the hardest, at least for Mamma & Dadda it is.

The girls were running to their room to watch Alice in Wonderland when we heard Allie run into something, we came around the corner to find her laying in the hall - she had hit the linen cabinet - was hoping for a knee or toe, but when I looked at her face our worst nightmares had come true - the eyebrow and the cabinet had become close friends - too close :(

Off to the ER we went - to sit and wait

After some numbing injections and holding real still the doc gave her 4 beautiful stitches :) She did get a chocolate easter egg to help ease the pain after too!

The bandaid just came off and she is looking pretty good - it hasn't stopped her at all - she is still keeping up with Big Sis, but now we are using WALKING FEET :)

Easter 2010

Easter was filled with a lot of fun this year - from 709 am when the girls woke me by screaming "MAMMA!! THE EASTER BUG BROUGHT US BUNNIES!!!!" to the time they snuggled into their beds and fell FAST asleep!

We had 2 egg hunts, lots of candy & sugar, fun family time and two very happy bugs - was a Perfect Day, except Dadda was missing :(

Here are a few pics of the bugs during the egg hunt at home.

It's Springtime!!

This weekend we decided to start preparing for Spring since it seems to have sprung outside.

We pulled out all of Allie's 'new' clothes (that were supplied by Em when she was this age) and we also went out shopping for a few clothes to fill Em's drawers for the Spring and hopefully Summer.

Since we were cleaning house Mamma decided to take the girls for a little trim of the hair while Dadda stayed home to do some chores.

And after

Outdoors

Spring has sprung and the kids (and mom) had spring fever, so we decided to get out of the house for a few hours while dadda took care of some errands he needed to do.

We had beautiful weather and we got to see a lot of wild life during the trip - the girls loved it and so did mom!

We ventured to local county park that has a somewhat easy waterfall trail that we have been wanting to see.

Posing for a picture at the first waterfall

Mom even got in a shot

Along the way we stop to enjoy the waterfalls and skip some rocks

As we were heading back to the car we saw a few 'friends' on the trail - think we startled them more then they startled us!

And on the road home we saw this pretty guy hanging with his chicks!

Two buglets become ballerinas

The girls have been asking to take dance classes for quite sometime now, so we finally decided to enroll them in a Baby Balley and a Pre-Ballet class to see if they like it. Last weekend the fun started with just going to go pick out leotards, tights and ballet slippers - the girls were very excited to run this errand and didn't understand why they couldn't just wear their new treasures right away. Finally this morning they were able to put on thier new threads and get ready to head to ballet! Allie is in the Baby Ballet class along with 4 other kids her age - it was really fun to watch these little guys try to follow direction and have lots of fun. The teacher asked all the parents to leave and surprisingly our little bug had no issues with this and waved as we walked out the door. Allie all dressed and ready for class Allie and her class following the teacher Em is in the Pre-Ballet class and once it was time for her class she was very excited and warmed up from running the halls as entertainment during Allie's class. She was ready to show the teacher her moves and her good listening skills. After the classes we had to pose for some pictures at home and do a little dance :) Sisterly love
